Maybe go with a custom washer that covers the whole mount not just the inner diameter. That way it also pushes on the lip of the urethane as well. Should help displace the load properly and also keep it from going into the actual bracket itself.

I thought about that but I don't think there is ANY extra room. And I also thought that would add to the vibration, which is already enough to make you check every bolt each weekend.

drill 2 holes thru the mazwork mount and add 2 bolt/pins thru the ploy

So you're saying to replace the existing washers w/a larger washer? i still think that would add to the vibration once it makes contact with the side of the bracket.



I think I see what you're saying now...drill straight down, on either side of the mounts center bolt and add nut/bolt?


I would probably add another washer before I would do something like that seeing as how Ashton is making more power without this issue.

Yeah, just on that one side thats trying to push through. Make a washer that is the same size as the actual urethane mount. It will displace the load against the whole mount and also push the lip of the mount into the bracket instead of it just trying to push through.

If that doesnt work Id say something else is up causing it to want to do that. Very strange

And I still feel a slight pull to the left on accel. and a slight pull to the rt when lifting to decel. Would that be a result of the 'twisted' motor? Or vice versa?

It doesn't have to be hard acceleration either. I feel this cruising in 6th. Still gets good gas mileage though!

what you need is LOCO solid mounts..

I feel sure it's a mount issue...front or rear. I've got the JWT solid mounts on my B13...I think I'm gonna swap them over and see if that will work.

If your having a pull even on light accel one way and on decel the other way I would think your having a caster pull like something shifting in the front end maybe control arm bushing? Bearing plate worn? I know that shifting motor mounts will cause some torque steer but usually only on accel not decel but I guess there are wierder things that can happen. Could it be that the poly mount is just worn?

I was thinking about the control arm bushing earlier also... i replaced mine with OEM in 2010 and you should of seen the originals ... wow
