Cant use the spec v slave because its different and mounts differently. Someone mentioned another slave that will work with some modification/improper mounting techniques. But I cant recall which one it was.

And as far as the mounts go would it be wise to purchase the mazworx setup or will I have to fab one up? I'll most likely be sending out my current mounts to have delrin inserts made, but I don't know anything about this bellhousing until I bite the bullet and order one.

At first glance, I thought the rear mount looked to be a little twisted but I was unsure...it didn't move though. I also had the axle bracket welded...pics later.

I'm in for pics...

You would be better off either fabbing or buying the kit and drilling new custom holes and aligning it up or welding the actual bracket to your frame. Either way. Shouldnt be too hard.

Oil baffle and gear stacks.

I found something interesting when I pulled my '06 Spec V casing off today...the oil baffle actually clips onto the casing side as opposed to being on the bell housing side like in the pics above.

I wonder if the oil baffles in this write-up were just placed there for picture purposes.

Anyone else encounter what I've explained?

I used a P12 gearbox to chassis mount in my b13 and my p10. Was a simple bolt on job, just had to trim one corner off the flat part.

I just ordered a new one from Nissan (NZ), they had to get it in from Japan, but it wasnt too expensive. I originally made one from a U13 gearbox mount, but the WOF shop (6 month check over here) didnt like it.

Nice, why didnt anyone else say that the p12 mount bracket and mount were a bolt in thing. lol.

So now if Greg can source mounts that would be awesome. Someone could make their own rear mount if necessary.

Im not sure if the section that bolts onto the 6 speed case is same as USDM, i could take a pic of mine, but from what ive seen the mounts you guys are making look similar.

Yeah pretty sure the trans side bracket is the same from both the p12 and spec v as people have used both with no issues.
