A 225mm clutch the the gspec setup has can hold probably 650whp, if you want to go any more than that, just go twin disk. Seriously. Its not hard to drive on the street and it will hold whatever you can throw at it.

Again available at Competition Clutch.

I appreciate the info. I'm only looking into using an S15 flywheel, and 240mm RWD DET clutch as a less expensive option. This is only if it will fit inside our bellhousing without extreme modifications. I saw that autech made a flywheel for the S15 to get rid of the dual mass OEM one. There are a few others I've seen, and I've been contemplating on weather or not to be the guinea pig. Unless this has already been tried, successful or not.

It should work, the s15 flywheel is the thickness needed to work. You might have to do clearancing on the bell housing for that large of a clutch but it technically should work and put the clutch where needed

I'm expecting to have to do some cutting\notching, but hoping not to. From what little I've seen, and read it does appear that it should work. I thought that using the 250mm clutch with the JWT flywheel was what caused the clearance issues. Hopefully the 240mm will clear it. If I do decide to go this route, and it does work, I'll be sure to post it so others can see.

the only thing stopping me is the confusing flywheel clutch config. i hear so many things of what works and doesnt.

some people said you use the 350z clutch some say 240sx KA.. it's all confusing

lol, with the jwt you can use the 350z clutch, with the Gspec flywheel, the KA24 DOHC 240 clutch, possibly an s15 clutch and flywheel setup, or Competition Clutch twin disk setup.

I got some measurements for an S15 flywheel. From the crank mating surface to clutch friction surface is 42mm. Does anyone out there have this measurement from a gspec, JWT, or OEM 20V flywheel?

Measure your stock flywheel and add .500" exactly. Thats how much thicker these clutches were made. Its pretty simple.

Just got done paying for my hubs from the DSS...

IF YOU SEND THEM OLD USED HUBS LIKE I DID....
Its going to be 150 for the hubs to be re-splined

if you can send them new hubs it will only be 100.
