Yeah, if I did it on a street car it would all be oem looking. The altima one didnt have a rubber boot because it mounts completely inside the vehicle and doesnt stick into the tunnel at all.

Nice, glad to see soo many people jumping on board. The more that jump on board the more parts that will be made for this swap and the cheaper the swap will get. People are sometimes afraid to spend that initial money but I can tell you right now, its the best investment you can make on our cars especially if your in the 350+whp range. You will never have to worry about your trans again. No more popout, longer 6th for better mpg, I mean it goes on.

The more that get on board and do it the more upgrades that can come with it later.

I am very excited to get it done my third gear is hanging on by a thread I dont even use it right now shifting from 2nd to 4rth sucks this is the third trans, I got the gears cryo treated and shot peened on the last two still doesnt hold up it just buys it more time thats all. I dont even know if I am making that much power to be honest I have a disco potato with supporting mods on high boost 21psi spikes to 23psi initially then comes down to 21psi at higher rpms. I did buy a protech top mount manifold I will be running a pt6262 etc hoping for the 400hp + range at lower boost levels maybe 19psi or so.

I initially wanted to do this swap to get away from those tired and wore out b13/14 trannys, but now I've made up my mind to go turbo since I safely can. I only have a few more parts to get and I can finally start this swap. I certainly am grateful for all of the research and info that people have posted, or I'd have not got this far.

Has anyone actually used the s15 flywheel successfully on this swap? I'd like to try to use one since they use a bigger clutch setup. JWT is in the process of redesigning their flywheel right now, so they are unavailable currently. Gspec's version doesn't use a big enough clutch for my future needs. Weighing the options between 215 and 240mm clutches puts the 240mm at an advantage. You can buy a bigger clutch at a lower stage to accomplish what you only could but buying a smaller higher stage clutch. It cuts cost a good bit, even though I've spent more than I care to think about. lol.

A few people have used the 250mm flywheel, but it has to be test fitted to for clearance and a notch has to be cut out of the bellhousing.

Oh, I read on their site that it accepted 240 and 250mm clutches. Maybe they are only doing the 250 when they finish the 2nd gen.

I was actually talking about the JWT flywheel, and an actual S15 flywheel. I was interested to see if anyone has ever fitted one for this swap. I've seen some pics of the JWT mounted, but never an S15.
