Yeah thats about the price of the gears. Im not going to change mine out until I break one if it does. So far not a problem.

yeah I want the gas mileage, it will help offset the cost of the swap in the long run... right now im looking for the specv 03 fd to put in my P12 trans. Had a free one offered to me last weekend, but the guy hasnt responded back to me...

Speedo?
Has anyone run a cable speedometer on their 6-Speed swap yet?

I have the swap on my P11, but it's electronic.

yes, im running a cable speedo on mine. You need to cut the tab off where the bolt goes as it sits in the case different to align properly with the gear. Just use a washer on the bolt to grab the edge of the mechanical speed sensor to keep it tight and secured.

Im considering doing this, do b14 brakes bolt up to b15 spindles? I have willwoods and I would hate to get rid of them, I would just drill the hubs to 4x100 if thats the only difference.

No they dont.....But you can probably get a new bracket from willwood to go onto the b15 knuckles.

In the works with DSS to have them custom machine/press new splines in oem b13/b14 hubs to make this swap easy, simple and direct. Just throw in a set of stock spec v axles and good to go. This will be so much easier than swaping hubs/brakes, trying to build your own hybrid axles with impossible to find parts, and no redrilling hubs to 4X100. You would send your b13 hubs (just the hubs blank, no knuckle or bearings) and they would be machined out for the b15's axle splines.

This should solve all the issues people are having with the swap as this seems to be the biggest headache of all for those doing it in b13 and b14's. Stay tuned.

Also I need the measurement of the b15 axles splines that go into the hub, outer diameter and spline count please. I have a thread in the general section. Trying to get this done and its looking promising.

I spoke to Brian over at Fastbrakes about this and he said you should eb able to buy the brackets from him for the setup. He told me in the range of $100 and then you use the rest of your other stuff.

Alright, the new hubs are in the works with DSS. Josh (unijabnx2000) is going to be dropping off a set of hubs and spec v axles to DSS hopefully Friday so they can see if modifying the stock hubs is possible (if they have the proper size tooling to press the larger splines) or if they will just design and make a new set of hubs with the proper splines.

Pricing is looking to be around 100.00 if the hubs are able to be resplined or 350.00 for a new set of hubs with the correct splines. Either or, its looking good so far and will be a great option for us.

This would be nice definately interested, although I do have a question would any b15 knuckles work for this swap or do you have to specifically use spec v hubs?
