Thread: 20V Transmission 6 Speed Flywheels

Here are some pictures od the JWT setup.




This little part sticking out on the front of the pressure plate, on the left as pictured, is whats scraping the inside of the bellhousing. Youll see the marks farther below.



You can kind of see the marks here around the input shaft and also the work done by the starter position that is needed for the flywheel to clear the bellhousing





I just need to shave the flywheel/pressure plate mating surface and it can go in.
If I had known about these issues before I would have went with the 225mm.

Andreas, I believe this thing needs to be shaved a lot more than 3mm or 3/16" or whatever I read earlier. Did you say you got this thing to work? Could you have had a different pressure plate than mine that was thinner? When I bolted the transmission up, my uneducated guess says it looks like gonna need to be shaved about 6mm. Id like to confirm these things and I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.
