Does anyone know where there are some pictures of the grinding done on a p12 bell housing to accept the 250mm jwt setup? I saw some somewhere a while back and I can't seem to find them.

The grinding is done on the inside of the Trans under the top starter bolt. If you want to see whats up bolt your clutch setup to the flywheel and put it on the shaft and you will know what to do

I was told the jwt 250mm fly has to be shaved (probably around 3mm) so the PP doesnt hit the back side of the bellhousing... Can you confirm this?

You have to find someone who is good on a lathe. I was the first to do this and i removed 3/16 of an inch. You have to take the friction disc of to do all this work.

and the friction disc is recessed..... so after its shaved you might have to make all the bolt holes deeper too?

is all this work necessary to use a 240mm clutch/fly? thats a 300zx setup right?

I dont mean to be rude but before you ask questions pay attention to what you have. Antway the answer is no because the bolts go all the way to the other side where they have nuts holding them on

How do you figure that out then?

Are you saying that a twin-disc on a 215mm configuration would not be suitable, for example the Clutchmasters setup with the larger spline centres?

Do some of you guys read things and make up your own stuff to add into a conversation to sound good.

The Mazwork 215mm flywheel is not a twin disc clutch it is a standard size flywheel made thicker to work with the 6 speed Trans and srandard 215mm presure plate. Uou have to get a 215mm disc from Mazworx with the larger input splie yo fit the 6 speed trans

I simply did not understand how a flywheel with a 215mm diameter would have a maximum horsepower rating!

That doesn't make any sense to me!

If you want a twin disk setup Comp Clutch is the only one to make a twin setup for the swap right now. Currently what im using.
