12.44@110mph on T25 on slicks
Well guys i did break but i did get 3 good runs in before it went. The timeslips are pretty dull so here they are typed out. Oh and btw this is my first real time running on slicks, haha, hows that for 60ft times, i spun the slicks every launch, i think if i would have done a 2nd gear burnout i could have maybe pulled a 1.6XX 60ft. My suspension felt really good. The urethane bushings and coilovers helped alot keeping the front wheels planted.

1st run: didnt do a burnout to heat the slicks, rev limiter launch, preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.899
1/8: 8.078 @ 87.5mph
1/4: 12.573 @ 105.9mph

2nd run, heated up slicks slightly, rev limiter launch preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.81
1/8: 7.98 @ 87.3mph
1/4: 12.44 @ 109.51 mph

Last run i got the best launch, heated up the slicks really good, Slicks set at 10psi btw: rev limiter launch, preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.724
1/8: 7.87 @ 87.44
1/4: 12.47 @98mph

This is the run that let go. Here is the thing. Notice my 1/8 mile is already .1 faster. the topend was pulling like crazy. My speedo is pretty accurate btw. 2nd run right as i crossed the line my speedo was at 110mph. Here is what happened. about 300ft before the end of the 1/4 mile i was crossing 110mph on my speedo then it fell on its face and and i look back and a big cloud of blue smoke. Just totally lost power so i coasted to the finish and still ran that 12.47. That run would have been a 12.0-1 easily @113 is my guess. I let the car cool for 45 minutes before the 3rd run. The pipes on the other run were burning hot. The topend felt soo much better on the 3rd run and it was pulling hard till i lost the 3rd cylinder. The 3rd cylinder has 0 compression. Pretty sure i melted a hole in it being it got hot and i wasnt using my race gas yet because i still had almost a half tank and i didnt want to add the weight and it wouldnt have mixed good anyways. So i was gonna just burn up what was in there then put the race gas in and bump the timing up a couple deg to increase topend even more.

The car was running sooo good too. Even though it was 85 deg out on my 3rd run, my other two runs it was about 90 deg out. So yeah do the math, a 70 deg night, race gas, bumped timing i think an 11.9 would have been feasable. haha Oh well bigger and better things to come

I will post up vids here in a minute. Enjoy. Evo towed me 3 hours home once again, haha

Im running a JDM 9.5:1 motor, JWT S4 cams, S13 T25, S13 aftermarket tubular manifold, Greddy 3" turbo outlet pipe running open, ACT Extreem PP with 6 puck clutch, Fidanza 8.8lb flywheel, 370cc injectors @ just under 4 bar fuel pressure just as a tune i did, Calum basic ecu for 370cc injectors at 4bar, Z32 maf running blow through, 15 deg timing.

Thats it, I have a lot of weight reduction though, No a/c at all in the bay or behind the dash, no front bumper support with gutted front bumper, gutted rear bumper with no rear bumper support, no power steering, nothing in the bay that needs to be there to run the car, no exhaust cuz im running open dp, no heat shields under the car, as far as the interior goes its pretty much full other than the stuff behind the dash. i keep it looking sleeper status besides the cut bumper and fmic. haha and the loud exhaust with turbo spool echoing haha Other than that its a matter of yes we are at sea level here and that makes a huge difference compared to being at say 4k feet elevation. Big difference. My trap speed was 110mph on my last run i would have trapped probably 113-114 easily and ran a 12.0-1 easily had it not given way. It is just really good driving, notice im in third gear in about 3.5 seconds or sooner which is 60mph I didnt even lift my foot of the gas in the 1st to 2nd gear shift, 3rd gear i shifted a little slower to not put soo much stress on the weak 3rd gear, haha but i launched with my foot to the floor at the rev limiter and just dropped the ebrake from the preload which i did at 3.5k rpms to tighten up the drivetrain to preven the axle from snapping if the slicks gripped. No initial shock. It worked really well, most people have a hard time pulling a 1.72 60' ft on a 22" slick

But now i will be on a t28 and will be looking for a 11.0 or so on these same slicks. so we will see after the convention cuz im not going to risk breaking it before then, haha. Thanks for the comments guys. I will load the 2nd run up later which i was running by myself on that one so you can hear it better, haha

I noticed that your 2nd run had a higher mph. why is this? Better 60'? more boost? I am trying to figure out why I did such a horrible mph this last weekend. 13.3 @ 114mph, 2.3 60'. If I drop my 60' will my mph go up along with the lower et? I looked at the hp calculator on google and it said my time and speed indicates 299 crank hp haha.

more so i was making more power, my first run was shortly after i got there and it was still about 93 deg out, the second run i waited about 20 minutes to let the car cool down and even then the intercooler pipes both on the hot and cold side were pretty hot, but much cooler than the first run. Thats why on the third run i would have probably trapped around 113-114 easy, cuz it was now about 85 deg out and i let the car cool for about 45 minutes before running so the pipes were nice and cool. I get a crapload of underhood heat because for one my exhaust especially when just idleing goes right back up into the engine bay, two my stainless steel tubular manifold is not wrapped and produces a ton of heat, i have no vents at all for the hood, i want to install an Evo hood vent onto mine just to get rid of the crazy heat. plus im wrapping the manifold when i put this new turbo on. Its just way too much.

As far as that my second run it was still about 90 deg out but the pipes were much cooler than the first run, Im telling you guys this car had soo much more potential, A good 70 deg night dry cool air, a 2nd gear burnout to heat the slicks and pull a 1.6XX 60ft i would not have doubted the car would have went into the 11's the difference at 12 oclock at night when its about 79-80 deg out still makes a huge difference in the power the car makes especially topend of 4th gear it is most noticable. I just wanted to run it before switching turbos, but again i will wait till after the convention to run so i dont risk breaking it, haha A nice cool night probably would have saved the motor also. The air waas just way too hot didnt mix well with an overboosted T25 haha.
