I haven't thought of doing this before. Not much weight savings, but I guess every little bit adds up

Most people take them out and put traction bars in place

I plan on taking mine out soon. Can't be doing any good with 22 year old bushings, or what's left of them for that matter.

I'm glad I did this. I didn't weight it all but bar,links,brackets,bolts and bushings must have been another 20lbs or so.

After driving for a few months it seems you gotta give it more steering wheel effort in the turns but is way more neutral in the turns which equals a better handling car. Next I'm getting the rear beam bent
