Thread: Best street/drag tyres in 17"

I'm looking for the best option in a 205 or 215 17" tyre for my b13 sentra to use on the street but also for drag racing. Car is aspirated with a broad powerband and currently have zero traction on Pirelli pzeronero tyres that have a lot of thread, but are a bit aged.

My options are:

Bridgestone re002
Bridgestone s001
Bridgestone myo1
Falken rsr semi slick 215 only
Hankook ventus v12
Khumo spt
Toyo proxes 4
Yokohama a drive a01

out of that list, i'd choose the re002's. alot of aus guys like the yokohama ad08r in a 215. worth a look. also federal 595rsr.

595rsr out of stock. I managed to find some bridgestone re11's. Also 215. Ad08r is available but a bit pricier.

Need something that can function on the street as well. Ended up with the re11s instead if the re11.

What tire size did you go exactly?

215/40/17

i'd have tried for a 225 bfgoodrich drag radial or mickey thompson et street radial in a 205
