how much power do you think it would take to run a 7.00 at ~100mph

What kind of power? You have to realize that when it comes to drag racing, the way the hp is made makes a huge difference. For instance a 200hp all motor car, could outrun a 300hp turbo car in certain situations.

Then you have to figure in weight of the vehicle. My car right now WITHOUT my fatass in it, is right at 2000lbs. A typical NX or Ser would run a few tenths slower due to the stock weight.

Just curious because we're running the same times. We only have a local 1/8 here as well. Hitting 1.71's in mine launching at 4200, car is dead hooking though. I'm usually 7.50's @ 92-95 on 12psi.

Go with the button. You may want to have it at wot just off the line if the car dead hooks, and you may lose traction with the spray. That's how I have my boost controller set up.
