Ok. Check again. I think you may be confusing shorter with closer.

The facts are that the sr16 has shorter 1-3 than the ser but, the 4th gears are the same. This leaves a gap between 3-4. A wider gear spread...

It will work fine, just going to have an eeevvveen shorter first and awkward spot between 3-4, which sucks in the 1/4 mile.

I was comparing it against a type r honda tranny with 4.78

Well im still thinking it has I will used it with sr16 tranny

Well to the track that I go its not a 1/4 mile its only a 1/8 so I really dont use 4th gear

So you would have to shave the trans to fit this correct?
