Im thinking about picking up a set on 225/50zr15 nitto nt01. They are only 300 a pair shipped

BFG's own Nittos, sorry.

If your gonna spend that kind of money just get the BFG's. They are only slightly more. I paid 330 mounted for my BFG's from Discount Tire. 225/50/15's, let a guy at the Convention last year use them and they were pulling 1.8 60's on them. Had them aired down to about 12-13psi. They gripped well.

Nt01s are road race tires... not friendly for drag, while they are a nice sticky compound the sidewall is way too stiff to get you out of the hole effectively.

Lol 30 psi haha I put mine at 23psi and got 2.2 60ft on street tires... Launched at 4.75k rpms and it bogged down..

We are headed back to the track this weekend. Hopefully with the warmer weather traction will improve. I am hoping to make 14.8 but we will see.

Went to the track with slicks to test and tune thursday night. broke my pass side axle.

that 60 needs a lot of work but keep it up wish it was track season up here
