Damn sucks you couldn't get a lot of runs. You can probably run a high 14 or even a 15 flat with a good launch. I had traction issues with my b14 as well.

Well atleast i found my weak points. I have a vid of my spinning. Ill upload tomorrow. I def need to swap out my clutch , pass axle, and completely redo my front suspension. Hopefully i pic up this 2 door se shell asap and build it right. My 4 door chassis is at the end of its life

good trap speed, you'll definitely see 14s with more seat time. What tires/psi? You should be able to get in the 2.0 60ft range on decent street tires with practice which will cut a HUGE chunk off that ET.

Tires are 205/50r16 cheap dry falcons at 30 psi. I was launching at 3k. I spun straight through first and second. It was cold out to though.

Your trap speed is good for a 14.8 or so. All in the 60ft and 330ft for you. You should be pulling 2.2 60's at least and that right there alone would get you to about 14.9, then a bit more traction after the 60ft will take care of another 1/10th or so.

Your weakness is running on 16" wheels. Youd be better off finding a set of stock se-r wheels with some 205/55/14's or 205/60/14's and lowering the tire pressure down to about 18psi or so, traction issues should be pretty much solved after finding a sweet spot in the rpms to launch. Also Preload!

I want to get a set of light 15 inch wheels because i am running 300zx brakes upfront. Either that or i swich to nx brakes and run a 14 inch rim. What is a good tire to go with if i am only going to use them at the track? Preferebly something budget friendly lol. Also could you explain preloading further. I was preloading with the brake or and letting the clutch start to pull a tiny bit

Hold the ebrake up, let the clutch up until it starts to pull a bit and squat the front down then rev to what your going to launch at.

As far as tires go, if you want ultimate traction, drag radials are the only way to go but they arnt cheap. You can pull 2.1-2.2 60fts with practice on 15" wheels w/ some 205 falken street tires. Ive done this several times. just lower the pressure in them down to 18psi or so, preload and find the sweet spot in the rpm to launch at.
