Hmmm.... I'm thinking that Raxles would be a good idea if you are breaking axles more than usual. At least they have the best lifetime warranty in the business. You're gonna need some insurance down the road when you go for mid 12s. If you are breaking stock OEM axles the Raxles are the only ones left that can take it.

im shifting just before 9k and i finish at about that in 3rd. i make peak power slightly after 8 and it holds pretty well to 9k. also this is with the taller 23.5in slicks.

and thanx
now lets see some of you guys with built motors show us what VEs can REALLY do...

its coming soon, i will have the motor done for my friends 200sx by the end of the summer. Hes just waiting on a little more funds to get the ball rolling.

Here what the setup will look like.

Sleeved DE block 90mm sleeves.
Custom 90mm 12:1 pistons
All new ACL bearings
8CW de crank.
Greg V lightweight pullies to go with his JWT flywheel.
VE head on DE block with Serban oil line kit
Mazworx 90mm full grommet headgasket
BC springs and retainers
Possibly a light port and polish on the head and port match the intake and exhaust ports.
Franklin Stage 4's or N1's. Gonna try to get the Stage 4's for this build being they should do better with this 2.2L motor.
Probably gonna do a Calum Realtime VE ecu for tuning.
370cc injectors.
9k redline.

What do ya think of this setup. Should make pretty darn good power high compression 2.2L along with good torque, im thinking when fine tunned probably around 235-245whp is what were going for. Only limiting factor is going to be his header and 2.5" exhaust. But if needed im sure he will go with something different to make the extra power.

Its nice to see some times. All these big names and all this big talk and no numbers.
I know Miko has walked you through some stuff. I am actually glad to see someone post up instead of just talk.
Bro Im proud of you.

Cory, get yourself a VE block and build a 90mm x 86mm 2.2L motor. The car will run 6-7 MPH faster so you should be good for 111-112 MPH and if you drive it just right you could run a 11.9-12.2 1/4 mile time.

Its great to see someone share their work and mods with the forum
