Not sure what your experience is with an actual gtir , if you've owned one, ran it with the stock 28 turbo, or what engine manement you've had eg jwt, cal, aem , piggy etc. when I had my gtir in the 99 sel on a jwt 750 cc injectors walbro 255 with a a maf the car made 265 whp 240 lbs torque on 91 octane at 14 psi. However, the true limitation is that the t28 on a jwt (for me) didn't like more than 17 psi on 110 octane. Regardless , I ran 7.68 7.7 7.75 s all day on the four door at 17 psi with 22 inch slicks on a 25 rim. A slightly bigger turbo finer tuning aem ems c16 makes a big difference. Rev limiter is now 8500 and the car pulls hard thru 4th gear without any cutting off. By the way, just because you can make 400whp or 350 lbs doesn't mean the car will run fast. It takes knowing how to drive and understanding psi slicks launch rpm and having the right combination of other factors. My goal this summer is to run an 11.2 1/4 mile with my set up. If I can't, will look for a bigger Turbo. Nonetheless, these sr20s don't stop impressing me.

I have come to the realization that with slicks these cars do some IMPRESSIVE stuff. Its not really about the power but more you learning to drive it.

Ive watched AaronNX's videos over 1000 times probably lol. If he can launch that monster nitrous car and make it look easy then a boosted nx should be pretty easy to get going once you learn it and have a good clutch.

I mean I love my drag radials. But im about tempted to sell them and just go all out slick for the track and leave the street tires on for the street.

Good stuff man, car moves. I bet that 1.5 60' felt nice.

I cut a 1.5 60' last time at the track with a 7.21 1/8th with the NA VE.

Felt as strong as my 500whp VET out the hole.
