i preload alot (hard to do with the b15 tranny sometimes) and i do a 2nd gear burn out, i went through the water because the hoosiers are really a slick in radial clothing i think u should go back and get a crack at it

of course i can go faster just need more seat time before i do anything. with 2 more psi like you ran I'm sure i could get the times down a lot. Sticking to what I have right now and just driving it.

lol damn shot me down. i only say that because if your still in third and your going to up the power you will eventually be having to shift to 4th but then like you said you dont know which is best to top out third or shift to forth for a short moment

with a inch smaller tire you will have to shift a little sooner out of 3rd but youll get more pull out of your 4th gear.

just food for thought.. deff have fun with those launches though every .1 in the 60 ft is about .2 at the 1/4. what kind of clutch do you use?

clutchmaster fx500 best clutch i ever used for these cars and the slicks are loan from my friend and will be giving them back this weekend so he can use them on his new boost build. Time to get my own and start from scratch again at the track. want to see what street tires brings me to just for shits and giggles but I see stuff breaking on them.

Yeah once youve gone on slicks you will never want to go back to street tires. Plus street tires are just asking to break something as unless your suspension is well set up and so on there is a good possibility youll get some wheel hop and thats not a good thing especially if the track is sticky enough.

I see you two kissed and made up...lmao. Nice run Morgans. I did the same thing with my tire pressure my first time out.

So if your running on 24 1/2's you could go all the way down to 6 - 6.5psi cold if need be. The thing is to run the highest pressure you can that you still basicly have full traction. Going lower will not always help overall. Once you feel the 60's that your getting are on target there is no need to go lower as lower will only create more rolling resistance and hurt top end.

On my new setup I plan to just start at 6.5psi cold as ive realized thats the only way to go for this much power. Ive done exactly what you did and kept doing that and wasted alot of runs trying to start with 12psi in the slicks and work my way down. Even though i knew from last time out that 12psi in them would just spin. Dont know why i thought things would change. haha

I would go that low if i was making the power you will be making but right now on my power I will stick around 10psi ish and work around that area. The first two runs on slicks I was scared to go to low and was def running them pumped up too much
