You guys run different sized/brand tires only on the front wheels? Do you notice any issues driving on the street or as a daily? I was thinking of getting 2 Ventus RS-3 tires just for the front and keeping my ZE-912's in the back. I was thinking I'd have some strange traction issues going around corners and in rain and such due to different tires?

gomba, this is the drag racing section. Different tires on the front is pretty much a given.

Running different sized tires front to back is fine on the street, even different sizes and different brands. Yes, behavior at the limit on the street with change, but that's to be expected and hopefully part of the reason you're doing it in the first place. If both types of tires have similar rain performance, you'll not see any drastic changes there either. If they have largely different wet traction, then just make sure the rears have more wet traction that the front to give you that "safe" understeer.

Why do people compare Azenis to drag radials lol. The Azenis is an AUTOCROSS tire. Not a drag radial.

Also for the street the nitto drag radials are best. For street/track the bfg's are best for a balabce of wear and grip (@ anyone saying they only grip ok on the street you didn't drop the pressure enough then), Mt's for strictly track unless your balling and like swapping tires.

With drag radials on the street its all about your tire pressures. Be very weary of the guy running around with 2 drag radials on the street that look flat! Chances are they aren't playing any games and are ready to go! At the track I run about 12-15psi for my best results. On the street ill run 10-12 psi for max grip if I'm running. At 35psi the radials will spin just like a street tire still.

Strat, my phone has gotten messed up 4 times in the past month, I lost everything.

So let me start a list:

Mr4doorSR20DET
SERican
Stratton
Ashton

Anyone else? If I sell more of these I might be able to leverage a bigger discount.
