Clearly I need to practice more.
I was hoping to run more like a 10 flat like I did in the neon back in the day:

At least I won, amirite?

Where were you launching? Looks like you dumped off the rev limiter on bald tires lol. Definitely have lots of room to improve on.

Honestly, I didn't look at the tach, but i'd imagine it was around 3000-3500 or so.

Yeah idk man. Either your tires can't hook for the life of them or the track is prepped with armor all lol. Only way to get better is with more seat time/practice.

I didn't really have trouble with the car hooking up. The car was coming off the line fairly drama free, no wheel hop or spin.

Might wanna try and launch higher next time. You should be able to get 2.0-2.2 60' times on street tires with the proper launch.

Yeah, on 205/50/15's set to 20psi I was pulling low 2.1's consistently. Dont know what you have for mods on the car but definitely should be in the 9's in the 1/8th mile but a 2.1-2.2 60 will get you that alone. Trap speed is that of a stock se-r by the looks of it. That would be about 88-89mph in the 1/4.

Practice, practice, practice. Lower the tire pressure to around 20 psi, avoid the water box, do a decent burnout, try launching at about 4500-5k just slipping the clutch quickly, Basicly not dumping it but not feathering it either. As you come off the launch, throttle to the floor.
