i did manually shift the car. yea, i think its wierd as i can hold 3rd out to like 120 or so. held first out to 40, then put int '2' so it shifts at the redline 6800somethin and hard shifts into it, 2nd goes to about 70ish and i did the same thing. 3rd, can well get to around 120 or so. and thats from me messing around being dumb. i can take a picture if you really want me to. its kinda redicious. if i was to spray, that gear would be crazy. it also says on courtseyparts.com in the gearing, that 3rd is a 1.000 gear for the auto se. i can believe it.

maybe my car is mysterious? lol.

i think that its mysterious, since when i first got the car, it was decently quick. i then got a cai, and it was a little more preppy. but when i was going to install my catback, i just straight up cut off the stock muffler and drove around like that for a week so i would get used to the noise (stupid move). but when i would brake + gas launch it, it was faster, and i would chirp 2nd easily then. does that make sense? when i installed the hks, i couldnt do the same things.

Cool man, of course all cars are different. I guess mine is just meant to go slower?

Oh well...you ever go above 130mph?

btw, you're a brave man. I tried starting in 1st, but it was just so short that I decided to always start in 2nd (let the computer shift from 1-2 for me).

no i havent been past 120something in my car. once it shifts into 4th, it doesnt go any faster, it actually goes slower.

your car ment to be slower? if anything your car is anything from slow. cant wait for the ve-t to come alive and be drivable.

In my cars stock form it only ran 11.7's at like 59-60mph. I'd say yours is about right. Auto's suck for drag racing though.

when i hit forth.....i never hit 4th in the first place until 115ish. i could do a quick vid of it going really slow, and show you what i mean.

i dont think taking off the overdrive will really help, as when i turn o/d off, it kicks the car back into 3rd. also, the throttle shouldnt be any different at wot with the o/d on or off as its the same at wot.

well, kind of an update. i went to a meet this weekend, and found out that i was letting out meter'd air. apparently 2 of the caps on my cai came off, and one of the guys were nice enough to give me 2 caps for it. i was on E at that time for gas, and i filled up. now, with the addition of those 2 caps, i am getting amazing gas milage again, and the car is a lot more responsive. i think those 2 caps could lead to something. will have to see again soon enough .

Sounds about right for that car. My G20 ran constant 17's (with ****ty takeoffs), but once I got the hang of it I pulled a 16.4 which was great (HS CAI, Stoneracing headers). And doing OD off 1,2,OD ON, D

The manual SE's and the AUTO SE's and G20's (driven them both) are COMPLETELY different vehicles. The Autos are suuuuuuper slow compared to the manuals. I know ive owned 1 auto P11 and two manual P11's and my sister just got another auto P11 and wow.... slllooooow
