I for one prefer a quick drag radial car over any slick car anyday.

I for one am shooting a nice mid 11 second drag radial car.

Me too. I have a good feeling im sitting in that catagory.

Ashton you are in a different category then us. You are representing what we can do at the drag strip balls to the wall. Keep going! Just make sure you put the fam first. Everybody is watching you. Even the haters! Im repping what our cars can do with a responsive ass turbo and some drag radials with a full interior and comforts (even though my car is halfway stripped, has no heat or ac, no back seats, power steering, or radio but it can be put back in easily:rofl. I mean....i got g20T seats though lol!

I wouldn't say that. I know for a fact when my car is done I could throw some slicks on my car and get down with Ashton's car.

There is no doubt in my mind about that.

lol, bring it on.

92 mph trap in the 1/8th is up there johnny, no doubt. But let me know when you get to 108mph. Do you plan to keep the boost where its at or are you gonna go any higher.

I dont know, its just me, i love seeing fast drag radial cars but there is a difference between 400hp on drag radials and over 500hp on drag radials. I mean i had my 25" slicks down to 9psi, heated them up to the point it was like tar paper and was still spinning them all the way down a 1/4 mile track. I could not imagine if i was on drag radials. I bet i would have seen 140 traps but my time would have been horible. Just because of the significanly less rolling resistance that drag radials offer over slicks.

But i like knowing i can go out and give it all i have without having the excuse of just spinning the crap down the track. I like being able to full throttle every gear. Yes it may still spin a bit but its gripping like crazy while doing so.

Rob, I cant wait to see your car done. Hopefully you get yours done before I get back into the states and put the VE head on with the 6765 billet turbo.

Lol you were drunk weren't you. I'm pretty sure you know my car is nitrous only, not to mention everythings in my sig, right below where you saw the time.

It definately should, if you plan on running mid 11's on drag radials. A fwd that does that should run in the 10's on slicks easy.

Damn Rob! That Man might as well have taken his glove off, slapped you in the face with it, and challenged you to a duel!
