Thread: Speed Shop OSR's 510

Just got a txt msg from the owner. He said they turned the boost up to 30psi and hit 605whp. He said they couldn't go any higher because of the ignition break up. I then asked him if he got the wheelie bars yet. His response was "I'm going to have to be a rider" lol Can't wait to see it hit the 1/4 mile again with the new found power.

What is the run down on this car? I have been searching and cant find anything. Also is there a firm date in place on when he is going to run it as I would like to come out and take a gander. Helping a buddy build his 510 project. I will post come pics. Its going to have an S13 subframe.

He isn't much of a forum guy. He reads them once in a while but he usally last about 10min before he reads something that makes him climb the walls lol. Those runs before were done @ 520whp I believe. I'm not sure about a firm date, they usually take it to the 1/8th mile since it's open every week. The 1/4 mile is once in a blue moon out here. When I find out I'll post it back up here.

Friends 510 - SR20 Forum This link is old but the blue 510 on the 2nd page is kinda what the race car looks like now. Cept it's a ford 9" and a SR20 powering the car. I think that 510 shell is for sale btw (2J is gone).

I text him yesterday and the 510 is running on 3/17/11 thursday at irwindale

Hows your car running edger? anything new with it?

Keep breaking 4th, really looking into the 6 speed swap with the jim wolf flywheel and put a 350z 250mm clutch so I won't have to go twin disc any time soon.

I want a 6 speed too but I have way too many things going on lol.
