Those are the situations where you could use the trick the Honda guys always use on us!
Get some spray for that one race haha, while racing Hondas they have done this to me several times

From a dig: RX8 by about 2 car lengths
40 Roll: B13 by 4-5 car lengths

Neither race was held on a public road

RX8s must launch pretty damn hard

I can now post in this thread since I own an RX8 and a B13 . The RX8 definitely pulls pretty hard if you stay in the power band, but if you are already moving it is very hard to find the sweet spot. My B13 is obviously faster than my RX8 because of it's mods, but if they were to go on any track other than a straight one then it would lose to the RX8 every time.

I hate RX8s with a passion. You should smoke him quite easy. If it is any help. I went off and left one in my Audi A4 turbo and if I would have just a simple tune like REVO or something then I would have killed him and that is in a 3400 lb 4 door sedan.

They suck and are slow big ole pieces of junk.

They are a driver's car, never meant to be fast in a straight line...

The RX7 is a fine car and I know a lot of people who have them but they hate to be modified like to blow apex seals like nothing else and get shitty gas mileage.

The rotary is a good idea and you can buy used RX8s for next to nothing but they are not that great. I will give you that they are a great car model and could be awesome with an equally great engine. For example the turbo DISI engine from the Mazdaspeed6 would make it an awesome complete car. I know a VW shop close to me that has replaced 20-30 engines in RX8s all under mazda warranty service.
