Thread: RX8 vs B13 SER

It certainly sounds close on paper. I'll give the edge to the RX-8 if the kid knows how to launch and keep the engine on boil.

That ain't going to help if you don't have hi-comp pistons, on my sr20ve with sr16 pistons it only gained like +2whp, so you shouldn't even bother just my .2 cents

Even if both of you had a perfect launch, I feel that u will take him. If it were a street race(not that I condone street racing) from a roll you will romp his ass. Trust me

0-60 in a rx-8 is 5.8, I feel like that's too much of a advantage over his high 6 second 0-60

But from a roll I agree... He'll kill it

Those rx8 are pretty slow..if you race at the track get some m-t D/R and get your launch perfect..and like everyone else said take out as much weight as you can..

Even though the SER is modded it has a high 0-60? Id say he's in the range of 160whp and the car is maybe around 2350lbs vs the RX8 that's stock(rated manual tranny at 238hp and auto at 197hp minus drive terrain lose 15% would be about 202whp and 167whp) and close to 3000lbs.

My old B13 got an RX-8 good off the line and I was very surprised and all I had was an intake and muffler man I really miss that car...By the way what game of cards were you playing? If it was poker you should have raised him just for saying that!
