I can say that so far I've heard nothing but good things about them. Indestructible was a few ppl's word.

They haven't let me drive it yet.

A stock 5spd tranny will be faster. There's a user on the old board that a fully done level 10 tranny, built motor, turbo, AND nitrous. My car was just a tad faster with just the level 10 torque convertor and nitrous. Both ran 8.7's in the 1/8th, with nearly identical 2.01 60fts lol.

Really?? that's hard to believe that a stick car would be faster than an auto.

you loose more power threw an automatic since there is no direct drive in till the converter is locked

With our motor it's more about where the power is at rpm wise. To get one of our auto tranny's to launch high enough to make any power you'd have to have an over 5k rpm stall, which wouldn't be streetable.

Just because it can shift faster, doesn't make it faster.

Here's a post I made back then.

I also feel the need to mention my cars times back then.

Fastest with auto tranny NA-9.6
Fastest with auto tranny nitrous-8.7
Same stock motor NA, 5 spd swap-8.8
Stock motor, 5 spd swap 100 shot-7.9

My car was gaining nearly a full second in the 1/8th with the nitrous when it was auto. Simply putting a 5spd in it did the same thing lol. I did nothing whatsover to increase hp when I did the 5spd swap.

For what it's worth, my car sprays the 100 shot(now 150 lol) before the clutch even engages when I'm at the track.

Thanks for the info aaron. I think if you got a 3500 stall or somewhere in that neighborhood, and running a decent sized turbo it would make a huge difference rather than NA, considering most turbo's begin boosting in that range.
