I say just take it to the track and feel for what the car is doing and think of ideas to improve your hook(that's what I do) without spending money,my. Suspension consist of 202,000 mile suspension bushings Kyb shocks e-bay coilovers (horrible), and a suspension technique swaybar.
what is your tq looking like and where does it hit hard, I would launch just below it to give the tires some time to hook, for example my tq hits hard when my vvl kicks in at around 4700 rpm's and I launch my car at 4000 rpm's with the clutch loaded (street disk/hd pp).

It takes practice. It's way to easy to just rev a car up and let it go.

If the rear is too stiff it will act like a pivot point and unload the front tires.

YouTube - Chris Miller 8.3@178 at WCF

Check out this video. He has his suspension working.
The front end barely lifts, the rear barely squats.

He's pulling 1.4 60fts without a wheelie bar.

RWD and FWD track setups are nite and day different. Weight transfer is working against fwd while they help rwd cars. U should know this man. Look at our Maxima's. We can pull decent 60's as in my 1.69 60 but you wont get much better. The only other person that has is JIME.

Where did I say that rwd and fwd track setups are similar?
I know what I am talking about.

Alright man. lol

Yes, it is very stiff, but it is not as stiff as possible. That is the point I am trying to make.

if you knew miller, you'd know his rear suspension is really not stiff at all, lol. he's also not on your typical rear suspension setup either, hes using a custom valved strange setup. and what do you mean by not stock bodied car? he has a 3 piece body kit on the front, thats it, car weighs 2500lbs.

How in the world does Miller's car weigh 2500? Has he added weight somewhere? A stock hatch with a b series swap weighs less.

Edit: Found this post of his from over 2 years ago. No telling what's he's actually done to make it weigh that much, or if it even still does.

"My car weighs between 2550-2580 depending on how much gas i have in the tank. That is with no ballast weight either. There are just alot of things about my car that are heavy.

There is no reason why an eg cant weigh sub 2000."
