I was able to put my old clutch in (ACT PP and exedy disc) and down sized my slicks to 23s and posted a 12.7 @ 107 and a 12.8 @ 106.xx. Still adjusting the tune...Didnt want to run the car too hard, so just those passes

what size did you have before the downgrade?

- Why not go with the B15 disc? That is a solid OEM disc with strong springs. I don't trust exedy disc.

awesome dude, on such a simple set up.

thats k20/hatch times.

do you have a final drive ? i forget.

if i were you id take that bad boy apart, slap in some 16ve pistons, lightly polish the head and reassemble.

could be a low 12 2 liter all day.

I used that clutch set up cause that was what I had lying around. I was using 24.5 in slicks and switched back to my old 23 in slicks Rich, thanks for the kind words. I do have the Mfactory 4.75 FD in the car.

ahh ok now. that makes a huge diff, 4.75 with a stock de tranny ?

i think thats my next move also, sell my 16ve and pick up a de tranny with that gear.

Well, just a little update. The car had a misfire at idle, but rev'd good at high rpm. I just thought a bad plug or wire popped out, ran the car did the 12.7 and 12.8. Just had time to look at the car yesterday, found out that one injector(370s) was stuck open and filled #4 cylinder with gas. Replaced the injectors with the stock 1s and put new plugs.. Still misfiring.. Damn.. Gonna open up the valve cover and take a look around to see if anything came out (shim) and then compression test.. If the head has to come off then the pistons will have to go in!

I think I sorted out my misfire issue. I have to put it on the road to see for sure. Heres a mod list for anyone wondering:
Xcessive IM with the N1 runners
Q45 TB and MAF 3.5 in piping to a 4in BPI stack
370cc injectors (but going back to 333cc)
N1 cam (0,0)
BC valvesprings and retainers
JMR 4-1 header
GSpec crank & H2O pulleys
4.8 Mfactory FD (stock se-r trans)
ACT PP and OEM Exedy replacement disc
Apexi NEO
Calum Basic
MSD digital 6
Innovate LM-2
