Thread: (Update) went racing for my B day (again)

best run of the night was a 14.356 @ 99? mph (gotta go grab my slips from car) was against a s13 det swap

i ran 14.4 alot last night but thats ok cause before i ran 14.7 alot so i dropped 3 tenths (consecutively) since adding the n1s/ssac/n60 which doesnt look all that great, but then you notice that my mph went up from 94-95 to 99mph which really shows i've gained power

so now that i've got my base runs done, its seriously time for drag slicks even if i have to set other wanted items aside.. launching with street tires sucks balls an if i can get half a sec or so just by switching to drag slicks i think its better money spent then more engine stuff.. i mean i can get 1000 header, gain 10hp but still be in the 14's cause of my stupid tires.. or i could spend a few hundred an drop into the 13's.. i'd say that would be money well spent..

99mph is high mid 13's with slicks territory.

X2 what were your 60fts?

He runs
14.2 @ 98 MPH on street tires
13.9 @ 99 MPH on slicks

I did his swap for him so I know what he has.

SR20VE motor, SSAC header, 3in Exhuast, Fidanza Flywheel, JWT clutch, Calum Basic ECU, 95-99 Maxima MAF and JWT pop filter.

I would have figure a trap speed of 102 MPH with what you have.

theres the time slips, they're really not in order or anything..

i stayed in 3rd till the finish line, i was shifting at what im guessing to be about 8500 (my tach sucks)

you can hear in a few of the videos me loosing traction an just spinning when i hit second.. that was killin me also...

he went to the bathroom thinkin he had time but when he came out he saw me staging an ran an jumped a fence to record me lol

With good driving your good for a 13.4-13.5 on slicks with that mph. Good luck
