have seen them go faster with similar setup there is someone on here that went 13.5 or so with a very similar setup, think his name is civicsuck or something like that

Yes but that's with a 75shot of nitrous, I think the OP was refering to NA all motor

I was referring to all motor. It seems like most people have moved on to the VE. I'll do that eVEntually...(heh) but I want to know how far I could take a DE. It seems like all of the bolt ons including cams could wind up with under a 14.3. Not bad...

I don't plan to drag race the car but I know that drag racing is a good judge of straightline performance/hp.

jaketips - on the OG forum ran a 14.3 in a 4door B13 with a SR20 swap. He had a 10.1 motor.

I agree 100% unless the track is prepped well or you are on slicks the surface of the track is actually slicker then the street. I remember chirping 3rd gear at the strip and being like WTF this never happens on the street. If you are bringing a car to the track and expect great results and the best time you need slicks. If you are going for fun street tires are ok.

Now that being said if its your first time go out with street tires as you will probably break something on slicks.
