Thread: Finally made it to the track with the new setup..low 12's

I wasn't to happy with the mph at all.. it seemed way to low for the mods. that im running
2871r
s4 cams
all the supporting mods to run 20psi

The car felt like it was dieing up top esp. fouth gear. And kept stalling out after I did a burnout so i figured i had a boost leak somewhere.
I redid a pressure test and found this


if you notice the tear was right after the clamp so it was leaking right from under the manifold
Im gonna head back to the track soon.. here are some pics of the day

I wanted to ask if you'd put it on yet or not. You might have to remove the separator if the GT2871R already has it built in.

I have to double check that..ill def. update you with pics and fitment..i want to car to be running with no problems so i can compare it to the stock j pipe..

I did a base line dyno with 13psi 10.8 a/f and made 267whp 240ish tq I added a bigger intercooler and piping as well as leaning out the injectors to make a 11.8 Wot and bumped up the boost.. .64



12psi for both tires

Those numbers were with the 2871r and the leak?
