I don't see myself stroking this motor any time soon. Maybe next year or something. I will shed a little more weight and try some diff cams though. New goal is 11.6@116-117. This will not be an easy goal.

Those were some cool videos thanks for sharing. That announcer guy is hilarious, we have nothing like that out here.
"not really necessary to do a burnout blah blah.. woh there is some serious power under the hood of that sentra" LOL

RWD or AWD for turbo. I have owned a few of these 11.3 sec 280zx Turbo and 13.0 sec Subaru STI.

I have driven a few FWD turbo cars and it gets old quick. Your boy Lance will tell you the same thing.

Andreas you owned an STi eh?

What are you using for tuning Cory. Reason i ask is that since you have that ram air type induction that if you tuned stationary it would be different than when you get up to higher speeds. That air being ramed in could affect your a/f ratio up topend when in 3rd and 4th gear.

Did you compensate for this in any way or monitored it to see how it affects it. Might not be a big change but by the looks of your pic the maf is right there by the headlight if im seeing it properly.

The maf is about 12in into the piping. And no obviously its not tuned at 115mph, but it really shouldn't be a huge issue, I did tune the car with that stack in place and open, but there's really no way to tune it at that speed. It should do its job and adjust/account for any extra air being forced in.. the regulator I'm using will go up with boost so if it really does see posotive pressure then it will account for it.

I'm using a custom IM, had it made by a forum memeber a few years ago. Its in my build thread.

yeah maf cars setup w/ ram air can be tricky. Thats what i said it should adjust somewhat and keep things inline but im sure it will vary a little bit. But as long as it doesnt go too rich from seeing extra air cross the maf that the engine isnt ingesting and keeping up with then there shouldnt be a problem. It would be really good to data log your a/f during a run and see how it changes with speed. That way you could almost set your tune maybe a bit leaner and allow it to richen up as you speed up.

Might give you a couple ponies when your up top.

It would definetly be something interesting to see.
