Yeah another little thing that anyone who frequents the track will tell you it to always leave on the 3rd yellow staging light, by the time you react and trip the litghs the green will already have lit up.

x2 thats great advice. Im positive i can get low 13s compared to some of the cars ive raced on the street. Tryin to get this boost leak tester from my buddy but he would rather see my car on 2psi than run properly so he can say he is faster lol

Fix that boost leak man. I ran a 13.6@104 on 7psi on my t25 the other day on street tires. With a t28 you should deff get low 13s. Practice launching on a vacant street. thats what I did after I ran a 14.2@103 last year after I just got the setup running. Also went to a much better track the second time.

And tell your buddy hes scared if he dosen't wanna give you that boost leak tester lol.

ok boost leak has been found and i should have it fixed tuesday. Went to the track today just to watch my friends and practice my launches which still suck. best 60 foot was a 2.36. and best et was a 13.9. Can anyone give me some launching tips? How can i get rid of some of the wheel hop? I had one launch where i thought my dash was just gonna shake it self apart.

What tires are you running?

what size wheels?

reason i ask is because if your hopping street tires it means one of two things. your not launching at a high enough rpm to spin them or your running big wheels and dont have enough power to move the weight of the wheels.
