My goal for now is 11's with real street tires, stock suspension and fully stock motor.

What are launching at? Are you using a 2 step on your launch?? Because those trannys aren't know for holding those kinda of launches or power for that matter, but whatever works

Goodluck on your quest for those 11's ,which your are determine to reach and will!!

I'm launching it around 6k on the pedal no 2 step, the valve train on this motor does not like it when you 2step+retard. I broke a rocker a couple of weeks ago testing out the 2step, it was building around 15psi at a stand still and boom!!! These transmission are know to break the housing but I have reinforced this mine to see if it holds more, so far it's working or maybe because the car is not hooking too hard yet. I might lowering the pressure on the tires next time I go to the track or maybe putting some M&H dot tires in the front that I have laying in my garage.

Nice job on the tranny and i would definitely think with what you just said you'll get some 11 second timeslips.

Although once you really start hooking then you have to worry about the tranny???? its really a No win, you are bound to break something , so just enjoy until you do!

^I wish I was near so I could get some runs in myself. I have my car in ideal 1/4 mile trim for my needs minus my suspension and front wheel/tire combo. I lost about 150-200 pounds from my normal daily load. Our local 1/8 track is under water. We had a really bad flood in the southeastern region. Good luck bro and get that 11.9 or no deal!
