Thread: 11.10@131.4mph at Dragstrip

Well guys i just got back from the strip, it was a hot one out as well with track temps still in the 90's by the time we were done running. Oh well.

The slicks i picked up were 24.5X7X13 old m/t's that were pretty worn so traction was still a big issue. I could not get off the line near as good as i though i would with these. I was pulling better 60's with my 22X8X15's.

Still burned the slicks all the way through 1st and 2nd and then it finally started to somewhat grip in 3rd. All in all im happy with the new best, I was hoping for at least the high 10 sec run.

Best run was my last run at 11.10@ 131.4 mph I picked up 4mph on my trap speed even though it was hotter out. car was running perfect and nothing broke, haha Always a good thing. Ill post up the slip and vids later.

Cant wait till a couple more months and ill be up anohter 90whp or so and be back in the cooler weather.

60ft: 1.789
330ft: 4.91
1/8: 7.321 @ 101.01mph
1000ft: 9.32 @118mph
1/4: 11.10 @131.43mph

Up 90whp in a couple months? You can only go so big ashton.... hahaha

Just playing, congrats though, 11.1 is a fast car

yeah, Intake manifold and ill do a new tune to 28psi of boost. Should put me right at the 550whp range 450wtq or so. Big jump, Thats the biggest part thats killing me right now is that manifold. Not to mention the 90 temp, haha

What track is that? Does anybody hook there lol? You can hear how bad your traction was in the vids.

thanks guys, this is speedworld in phoenix, Its a pretty good track, I dont know if the prep work just wasnt up to par but alot of people were having traction issues as well. But i was running on 24.5X7 m/t slicks that were very old and worn.
