Thread: My car finally made another full pass with nitrous

Well 4 actually. I'll list the times cause my scanner and Vista don't cooperate with each other lol.

.549 1.764 7.925 87.89mph
.835 1.764 7.958 81.68mph missed 4th gear
.499 1.789 7.968 88.73mph
.557 1.789 8.025 86.55mph spun at third and 4th gear

I'm happy as ever right now. My car hasn't made a full pass with nitrous since 4-20-07 and those runs were only on 3 cylinders lol. On top of that the timing is cut back 5 degrees and the fuel pressure was at 50 psi lol. All just to be on the safe side.

congrats and i was gonna say i know how you feel, i dont get to go out very often to the track, its over 3 hours away. It sucks but i love it. Good to see your car bout out there putting out some numbers for the nitrous guys.

Lol just wait. It'll get faster once I get everything tuned in, and THEN I'm going up to a 150 shot.

did you get a chance to see what your AFR were running? as i have been taught 13.5 at full throttle gives the most power. but thats just out of text books... hope they taught us right lol

Never got a chance lol. I was too busy driving and watching the road in front of me. It's bad too cause you know my wideband is mounted right on top of the normal gauge cluster so i'd really just have to glance down lol. From what I've read 13.5 would be way too lean for nitrous use. I've actually been told that 11.9 is where I need to be lol. The other night I sprayed it a little bit on a dead end road here close to my house and it was mid 12's then. I think that's where I'll try and keep it though.

BTW Ben, there's a short kinda crappy vid of my car idling in the all motor section here. If you actually use a computer and not your phone you may get a slight idea of how it sounds lol.
