Me: 2.234 60', 1000' 12.271, 1/4 14.665 @ 93.94

RSX said he had just an intake for mods.
At the time I had a Gen4 header, Greddy SP 1-7/8" ID cat-back, S4 cams, JWT ECU (no cam program), 2 pc. ur pullies, new clutch, 8.7 lb. flywheel, jgy lsd(phantom grip type), ~170 lbs. weight reduction, kuhmo 711 195/50/15.
AFTER that I put on a gen6 3" header and full 3" exhaust and dyno'd 163whp, so not sure what whp it was for that run.

BORNGEARHEAD ran something like 13.9 in his NX with similar VE mods, about 191whp IIRC - but that's about 400 lbs. lighter than your G20, weight worth about 1/2 second I'd guess, and he has quite a bit of track drag racing experience.

If you're putting down 190whp, with drag radials I bet you'd win. Very good launch on street tires should be closer - my guess anyway.

What was your time in the 1/8? My G20 ran a best of 9.7 sec at 73/74mph with a2.3 60 ft. My G had- G20 gearbox, ebay intake with hks filter, stillen header, 2.5 inch exhaust, flywheel, gspec pullies, bcstge2's. Car laid down 162 whp consistently on the dyno.

I do have another tune for you to try out finally, a buddy helped pick up some midrange and the partial throttle low end makes quite a bit more. I will burn the roms and send them to you in a couple of days when I get back to the house. So check out your times with your current tune, then see what the difference is that this new tune provides. In a month or so after I get Chuck's new header, I will have my car on the dyno for a real tune and will send you that one also if you want.

^D*mn 760, I want in on this bro! Sounds like some sick tuning going on.

Correction - my dyno was 162whp.

Not sure what the 1/8 was, the stupid lights weren't working in that lane @ GLD for the 1/8th mile.
The RSXs had a 9.542 @ 76.14 in the 1/8th on that run.

A slower run for me in the left lane with working 1/8th lights:
2.377 60', 1/8th 9.64 @ 75.42, 1/4 14.828 @ 94.49

Well I finally ran against the type S not at the drag strip but on country road with no civilian traffic off course....
Did like 4 run:
On the first run we started rolling in first gear, he had better reaction time, so he went in front of me like half a car length but when I shifted 4th I started to pass him.
Next run we started from a dead stop he got me again by like 3/4 length of his car but once again I started to get him on 3rd gear.
On the the other runs I got in front of him most of the time but only like 2 feet ahead the whole time.

Overall I think my "VVL G20" car has more power than his "Type S", what gave him a little a advantage to keep up with me was the shorter gears and the his RSX being lighter.
It was funny as he was shifting almost 5th gear but my car was still climbing in 3rd gear and keeping up in front of him.
He started to claim that I was using NOS but yet I showed him the bottle was empty. The only thing I did before running was bumping the timing to 19* and dumped some octane booster to prevent detonation as the tune on my Calum ECU has some really aggressive timing maps

I have a better tune for you, we found out the k value on the bin I started with was wrong putting my a/f at 10-11's. We changed the k value and it's right around 13 now. Send me your roms and I will get the tune changed on a set and send them back.

Oh damn! 10-11 AFR's, it still pulls hard on top end, go figure.
I will send you a set of roms as soon as possible.
Could you PM me your address I don't think I'll have it anymore, I'll send you a few bucks for the favor too.
