I normally just add 4 seconds to the 1/8th time and you have your 1/4 mile times or something damn close to it. Keep in mind that these cars are more top end so we do our catching up at the big end! The car is begging for cams now! BTW the 8.5 was at 16lbs I think. I think i actually got one good run in at 16 and this was it. MPH at 14.5 was 84.35 or around there all night.

Id say its a mid 12 second car on 16lbs with a good 60ft. LOL I was killing V8's out there. I had a guy in an SRT-8 Jeep walk up to me and he was like WTF is that and what in hell do you have in it lol. Apparently him and his boy were laughing at the lil NX until they saw it run!

I had 2 of them, kept the fresh rebuilt one for the G.

edit: who welded the external gate for you?

The external gate was welded on by a local guy here named Ron... RJ's Custom Piping. He does all my welding stuff. I really wanted to use the internal gate first and see how it held up. But I love external! I really REALLLLLLY want to throw some S4's in the car now lol. But itll have to wait for this VE project to get off the ground and running as a daily driver. Then this car is getting stripped and should be nasty fast! Its still got full interior now!

An 1/8mile run ends in third so it looks similar to this with less traction in first from the launch and a spin shifting into second sometimes:

Yup. The chassis has about 250k miles on it now! Its age is starting to show with stupid stuff like my third brake light staying lit even when I dont have the brake pedal pressed, and my fan hookups not working. Other then that its a great car. But itll be a dedicated track car soon so I really dont care about any of that.

That's great for street tires. Fwiw when I hit 7.9 I trapped 92mph on slicks. Oh and for the most part to convert 1/8th mile to 1/4 multiply it by 1.56. It's not always accurate but that's what most people do.

Pictures!

I raped the Z06 HARRRRRRRRRRRRRR :downs . I walked the white Monte Carlo after spinning off the line and then bogging! The red Transam vs me was a good race. He had a bit more power though that he could put down the the ground. He was running around with a 90mph trap compared to my 87mph trap. I think if I wouldve ran high boost I couldve ran with him. But my clutch wasnt having it. All in all I had a good time though!
