UPDATE


Well i got the extended studs installed and the slicks worked awesome.

Transmission not so much...

My first run i rolled out of the hole and hit it in 1st, wheel hop went crazy and before i could push in the clutch to stop it the engine shut off and i coasted off to the side. I get out and all i see is my tranny leaking all of its fluid onto the very sticky track that John Force ran on the weekend before. So i get the car back to the pits and jack it up and see that there is a crack from the passenger axle seal all the way down and around where the shift linkage connects. So what did i do????? being that i paid alot of money for the track rental and money for renting a trailer and all the other stuff that comes along with it, i decided to drain the rest of the fluid and jb weld the crack so it wouldnt leak at all and run it dry. I staged up, slowly roll off 1st, slowly shift into second, i gave second a little throttle, slowly shifted into 3rd and smacked it all threw 3rd and beginning of 4th.

End result. I went 14.1 @ 113MPH

My first 1/4 mile pass, and my last for a while.
