That's the exact same way I did my last one. I milled it all except for the injector bosses. That way the taper could run all the way to the flange. Looks nice!

Since the lowport stuff works on the RR DE.... this is essentially for them also.

Would modding an upper VE like this (http://s24.postimg.org/x80b8xd1x/image.jpg) and then cutting the lower VE up and mating that with the RR lower so a hybrid could be made be of any benefit?

its a kool modification but wouldn't provide the best benefits. fabbing a complete manifold from scratch will deff perform best.
