During the week, BSR reserve the whole raceway except for some Friday's and weekends so none of the tracks are available even if they are not in use. For FATT (Friday At The Track) we were schedule to piggy back on that event so instructors, attendants, and EMS workers were already available. Then came SCCA with the same date as FATT on that weekend so the normal FATT was canceled and now it's only for lic drivers so all of the instructors will be at that event.

I know, I am pissed off as well and the track manager knew it. I was in constant communication and even went to the track and met him in person on several occasions early last year. So my original scheduled posts was based on the meeting and conversations with him.

So now I am discussing the alternative with Lou, Rob, and Mark

I just called Chris White the Motorsport Coordinator and left him a voicemail. He won't be back until Wednesday. Not sure if anything is going to change at the moment but I'm looking into it. As also some of you are, I'm not 100% understanding about how this happened with the road course. Trying to come up with some solutions.

That was the latest plan as I understand it.

So a group willing to rent the whole track for the day came along, which means the FATT day got canceled, because it is just a "filler" day to give the track a chance to make money when no one else rents it. That makes sense to me, and I can understand that. We didn't rent the track, so someone else did. Got it.

Yes, this makes sense. To attend that track day you would need to be an SCCA member with a racing license and fire suit, cage, etc.
I get that.

What in the hell are you talking about? This is where things have gotten completely confusing. You keep talking about instructors. I don't see what they have to do with anything, and if you'd just leave them out of this we would all be 100x less confused.

So in the effort to save the road course track day, with my limited knowledge, it seems like we have two options:
1) Create an LLC and rent the Shenandoah Circuit for that Friday. Why or how this is an option still baffles me, since we're told the SCCA has rented the track for a practice/race weekend. I'm confused.
2) Find a different track nearby that we could attend or out-right rent if possible. I have no idea if there are any in the area, I'm just split-balling.

If you haven't noticed, it's still confusing as balls.
