You joke, but maybe we can send a global PM to the forum members asking how many conventions each person has been to in the past (5 years), and what their likelihood would be to attend next year.

If you are going to do that why not throw some more questions in there like, how far are you honestly willing to travel?, How much are you willing to pay for a track day?, etc.

^^ Or perhaps some sort of poll to make it easier for them to complete and us to grab data. Perhaps a multiple choice poll.

It's not set in stone, but many folks approached me before and during our meeting following the picnic (You were there LOL), and stated that D.C. would be their top choice for '13. The only downside is that I'll be deployed, so I told them I'd do '14.

That of course is all subject to change, I just figured if folks were wildly interested in the D.C. area, I'd be more than willing to run the ball.

Going on a 6 month TDY to Afghanistan. I get to run the show there for a little bit, as far as the command is concerned anyway.
