I put emails out already to Gateway and Waterford Hills yesterday but have not heard anything back yet and can try to follow up this weekend if I haven't heard anything back yet but it might be a weekday only thing to talk to someone which can get dicey with my work but I'll do what I can. I try to keep the personal calls to a minimum at work (I want to keep my job I have now after not working 20 months as I'm sure those of you who have been laid off in the past can understand!)

Thank you!

Completely understand on the calls. I will start making a spreadsheet tonight so we can track who is contacting who and what options look like. We can always have somebody else call. I am somewhat free to call. My boss is perfectly fine and supports my addiction...

Are you going to put the spreadsheet on GoogleDocs?

I have to say, I am happy to see all these ideas coming out. It seems that there is a lot of enthusiasm

Chris - great job of the map.

I also just sent an email to someone who I know set up a few track days at Gateway to see if he has some insight and/or a contact to go to..... will update when I find out more

EDIT: That was fast!

I got a response already.... so far all I know/heard is $6500 for the day on a weekend and have a contact person to work with so I'll see what they say if that is the same rate for a Friday.

Is there also going to be an autocross because I know they do autocross events in their parking lot along with the drag strip!

Do you guys do drag stuff on open nights with pay per run thing or how does that typically work? You don't rent the drag strip for just the convention, right?

No we do a pay at the gate and would prefer to do that at track day also like we did at Nelson.

I must have missed something. The convention is in D.C. in 2014¿

Nice job on the map man! Now can you speckle in the location of each forum member? ;-)
