I don't think we want to focus on Nelson two years in a row. If there are no other viable options, then maybe.

if we had it in savannah just later in the year (like this time next year) are there drag strips around it that will be open?

Joe is looking in to Savannah. You just don't want to do it when it's killer hot, but definitely later than in '09. What was it, March????

yeah, march 27-29 IIRC. i would think mid/later april would be the latest because of the heat.

We could do Roebling up to this time any year. We were at the end of March and anytime in April, May, or even maybe the beginning of June should work weather wise. You could get a real hot day at anytime, but anything after mid June increases that chance. There is a greater risk of rain than heat in the spring, but we just found out how much fun that can be.

And we ended up with 53 cars on track in '09

^ sounds to me like enough time has passed to have it there again given the huge turn out. 4 years later at a repeat location isn't exactly a bad thing either, right?

I did start asking for rates at Gateway and Waterford Hills though for the heck of it via email. If things calm down at work, I can call to talk to folks at the track locations too and put some feelers out there.

I'm up for Roebling, and I think you'd have more help from other people this time, Joe.

Heck, if you do it in March at Roebling Road, Mike and I might actually be able to pull off attending without conflict because our season doesn't start until April here with NASA

Plus I think a lot of people in the colder climates will welcome the warmer weather.

The problem with Roebling in March is there were no drag strips open.
