anomoly, how infact did he steal the parts from you ?

did you send him the parts plus paypal him money for machine work ?

or did you send him the money for the parts.........

just curious exactly how it went down ?

he got the head worked at a head shop and then sent it to Bigtom to shim the head. if I recall. rightThen the disappearance act happended.

Oh btw the products were a piece of art the intake manifold the head, If they had been my pieces I woulf of just put them as a center piece on the dinner table. Noel saved and sacrificed alot to get these things done.I hope they catch the guy.

This is sad, I didn't know Anomoly got shafted. Noel is very nice person.

I'm not the type to bad mouth people, but the people in Socal have known about Bigtom shady dealings for a while. It goes all the way back to his old shop in the San Diego area. Lets just say it got busted for something similar to a chop shop.

sorry i havent replied to this sooner as i have been out of the country,
parts 'were taken plus some deposit money to start work... this all happened in about july(i would have to lookk for the paper when shipped) of the time he dissappeared

any leads on this story? you try hitting up the editors of MOTOIQ?

I'm wondering if he's got family down in the El Cajon/San Diego area? I remember going down to his place in El Cajon back in '04 to drill and tap my block for a turbo install. I'm wondering if some of the old timers here in SoCal know how to get ahold of him. I'm pretty sure the MotoIQ folks or Chuck Johnson would know how to get ahold of him since he was pictured helping Chuck with his runs at the Salt Flats.

i also felt he was shady guy as well, he sold a bunk motor to a few friend of mine, then they tried to get ahold of him and he pawned off another bunk motor to him, he also scammed squabtzer on this forum

My motor was built by bigtom... ME and my Roomate sent our motors to him to have built.. Several months later we lost contact. Drove down to UT to his house as we were able to get his address from some people. Showed up in his town and called and said we were there and WTF was going on.. he apologized and came up with some stories with his wife so we said fine just keep us in touch. Same situation came up again a couple months later and we finally said we want the motors now or we are coming back down as we only lived a state away. He finally responded and said the motors were done so we met half way and picked up our motors.

My roommate ended up having some issues with a valve and compression. So bigtom actually stepped up and took his motor back down to UT and rebuilt it again and brought it back up fresh, Motor was perfect after that.. Mine i just got running not to long ago and it has ran flawless aswell.

Definitely some shady situations with him but it ended up working out. I have HEARD that he was back down in So Cal, and Also Pheonix area.. Also heard he's still around UT. Hopefully u get some resolve to this. I know he comes off as shady but sometimes it does take him along time to get back to people and always seems to work things out from what i've seen/heard. Hopefully that is only the worst case scenario.

Shouldnt have taken him 2 fucking years to get anomolys engine done.


Big tom was hit or miss, he built a couple great engines out here, but he also built some bullshit. I hope everyone that was ripped off gets payed back someday.
