Why I still hate USPS and how I'm about to get shafted on $190 ($90 worth is postage)
So for years I refused to ship international because of issues with people not getting stuff or even refusing delivery because they didn't want to pay for customs fees and it gets sent back to me. Well, I had people telling me its fine, its so much better now (blah blah blah) and how I can trust the USPS now. Well, I call BS. Shame on me for trying this again. I sold an SR20det T25 exhaust header for $190 shipped ($90 covered the shipping cost only) so now it never got delivered and I'm stuck not only NOT having the header to sell any more but will have to fork out $90 out of my own pocket to cover his ship cost. I'm once again going back to my policy of no international shipping because it screws me. This sale was through ebay and paypal so the buyer has all the rights and I have none. Meanwhile, my local USPS location says its not their responsibility because it was clearly successfully handed off to the post office in Sweden. I can't even file a claim for the $100 (the $90 I'm out of no matter what here because there is no refund on postage paid) NEVER AGAIN.

Here is the info for those curious (noticed it is 5/26 and a supposed delivery attempt was made on 5/19 with no other updates since then 1 week ago!)

Tracking Number: CF220160829US

With eBay, they have a global shipping program, you ship to a US address (Kentucky maybe?) and then they handle all the customs and shipping from there and handle those charges with the buyer. Before they had this, I tried international shipping twice, got screwed both times.

I've used their Global program I think 3 times, worked fine every time. Then there are the buyers who want to pay 'extra' for me to ship direct outside the program, and 'oh can you put a different value on the invoice', etc, etc. Stay away from those folks, nothing but trouble.

I tried that international thing once where ebay forwards and it was a nightmare and i got disfavorable feedback because of it. The ebay buyer blamed me for not getting his stuff when promised and not getting proper tracking. I tried to explain my delivery was made and it was ebay he had to go to but I still got the bad feedback.

Its great to hear you had success with their forwarding service but I did not the one time I used it for something going to Singapore

I stopped international shipping on ebay around 4 years ago. If it isn't the buyer trying to screw you the post office usually does. When I do ship a product out of the country (Direct sales no ebay BS) I use Fedex and go to the main hub and never lost anything that way.
