last picture looks to be a branding stamp where it is threaded into the aluminum.

I have a 6k camaro build for my father in law done by a shop here in nj that uses the same exact fittings for the vac distribution. They might not look pretty but they are way better than any plastic autozone fitting (have had many boost leaks from them

I'll play.

They are ugly. Folks make fun of them. They stick out like a sore thumb in a black and silver/chrome/aluminum engine bay. Surely there were better looking and equally effective solutions?

What you just said to me. Was that difficult to articulate? Did it cause you a lot of effort or strain? Now go back and compare your statement to how that fuck-head Justin decided to speak to me, the upset client, about the subject of those ass-crack-ugly brass fittings.

It is builder preference. But it says a lot about the builder given a practically infinite budget, yet uses brass npt fittings from home depot.

Or maybe the profit margin was too low and Shawn got the snicklefritz instead of the dank.

I cannot remember how many times I said to coat or paint the IC black.

For clarity, is it your understanding that Jaime is going to fix ALL your aforementioned issues??? Cause I'm feeling like it needs to stop...maybe it's just me. You can definitely keep compiling your list....Unless you don't feel like it's gonna happen...I dunno...

not trying to offend

That's a good question. I don't know exactly what Jamie is planning, beyond what I posted paraphrasing his text to me.

I've got to get my AC fixed, new compressor, dryer and expansion valve as Rock Auto recommends.

https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=5243757&cc=1212905&jnid=457&jpid=2

I will find a local shop or mechanic to get those parts installed, flushed, AC re-charged (whatever) professionally. Might need new o-rings, at least where the green goo leaked out at the firewall.

Then....Jamie can come down. He cannot be tuning with no AC working.

I don't know what all he plans on addressing. Nor what he may or may not have discussed with Mark and Justin.
