beware of fnsikser aka Fred Casey
About a year ago (07/2007) I contacted Fred Casey (the owner of KC Racing) via email and asked him to make me a custom downpipe for my vehicle. We exchanged a few emails and phone calls. He asked me to send him my new Protech manifold, a Garrett GT30R exhaust housing, and $300 so that he could make me a custom downpipe to fit my car. I sent him a postal money order for $300 along with the parts. I lost interest in the car, and I forgot about the parts until about 2/2008, at which time I sent Fred an email inquiring about the parts. I never got a response from him. I did get ahold of him on the phone on 06/01/2008. He told me that he had one of his employees mail out the parts to me 4 months ago. He claimed that he had tried to get in touch with me, but that I didn't respond. So he just shipped out my parts to the address that was on the package I originally sent him. When I asked him for a tracking number he said he didn't have one. I told him that I didn't receive the package, and I asked him to check his shop to make sure the parts weren't still there. He said he would check his shop and follow up with his employee, and asked me to give him a call the next day. Since that time I have called Fred almost everyday, I have left numerous messages. However, he has yet to answer or return my calls. I have posted on the forums and sent him emails, he has yet to respond. I'm tired of giving this guy the benefit of the doubt. He has over $1000 worth of my parts. I have filed a mail fraud claim with the USPS, and I also plan on filing a claim with his local police department. I know Fred is considered a respected member of this community, but his actions in this matter are unacceptable.

Sorry man but i think that thing is sold bro. I remember him selling a nice mani and downpipe a while back. I feel your pain but at the same time I think of myself owning and running a company, u lost touch with him for six months dude I prolly would have done the same thing too. Now I don't know what kind of arrangements ya'll had as far as whether he was supposed to get back to you or you was supposed to get back to him when the downpipe was finished so let me now shut up before I put my foot in my mouth!!!!!!!!

since everything but the return shipping was paid, he should have made an effort to contact his customer regarding what to do with it. hopefully you get your stuff back. i have done business with him in the past and not had a problem.

And still no response from him? Isn't he on the sr20 forums anymore? I would think he would see this.

I have called Fred nearly every day several times a day for nearly a month. I have left numerous messages, he has yet to respond back to me. I don't think he'll respond to this thread either. I have posted a similiar feedback thread on the other board. Hopfeully between the forums, the postal service, and the police I'll get this matter resolved.

Honest to goodness, most shops around here: if they have not heard from you in 45 days its usually theres.
