What you're dancing around is the fact that YOU packed it. And YOU are responsible for how well the item was packed. And YOU have no clue how shipping insurance works. And YOU are responsible for how the item arrived.

And YOU are responsible for misrepresenting the condition of the item.

I'm not saying it looks like the other party is blameless, but it's pretty hard to take your side when you've mislead the buyer and packed the item like a fool. How would you feel if a seller did that to you?

I remember this thread. And I posted on it asking if this was the same header he just sold. He replied with it being a long story. But, no where was it posted that the header was damaged. I think it is important to note that this item was in dispute due to the damage not being disclosed and then another for sale thread was started and was being sold without the damage being disclosed. This is an open and shut case.

I completely agree with you..

That is not true. The post clearly said local pick up preferred, that way a buyer could see it first before purchasing, and said it had some minor dings and dents. The whole transaction was to be handled by OP, not me. He wouldn't make the thread himself.

And Ben, I did not package it myself. Again, I sent it from the UPS store, I brought the header in the first time when he said it was too expensive, they measured it and picked out a box for it and I bought it, I left w/ the box and header. Then he said he would pay the amount. So the next day I brought the header and the box, gave my information of where it was going to, paid, and left. That was it.
