Which one do you think we're being too lenient on?

Storm8800. Lets break down the scenario. For arguments sake, Im going to put this into perspective. I post an item for sale on the forum with a few pictures, all of which disregard damage that clearly should have been disclosed. My description mentions nothing about any type damage, but instead describes the item as a 7/10 with no "rust or holes." Being that the pictures nor the description reflect any type of major damage, you pm me interested and pursue with the purchase. You then receive the item, clearly not as described. Who is at fault? Clearly I am. How does this not reflect what occurred here?

Like it or not, we don't have rules against that, nor does the US have any laws against it we can fall back on. So we can talk about changing the rules (which I have said I'm against) in the appropriate thread that I linked before, but as for punishment for the seller, we have no leg to stand on right now. We'd also have to take action against maybe 30% of the active classified ads out right now as I'd bet that many are similarly nebulous.

Since I dont see an end in sight for this thread and it will most likely be referenced in the future with people dealing with Jordan I wanted to put this one the record.......I'm on the complete opposite side of PA from all those Philly guys. A b13 popped up in NJ on craigslist and I really wanted to check it out. Due to my heavy work schedule I wasn't sure when I'd be able to and as we all know, clean b13s at reasonable prices don't last on CL. Well i contacted a few people on that side of the state and Jordan was the only guy who could or was willing to take that trip for me. He was currently on the road for gigs so he agreed to take a look for me. All he asked for was the gas money and i'm pretty sure it was at least an hour out of his way, maybe more. He went up there and not only took a bunch of photos for me, but also cell phone video and high resolution video with a fancy high res camera. Because of him, I know own a SUPER DUPER clean b13......just to give you an idea of positive he's done here in the community. I know it doesnt effect anyone but me, but as I'm part of the community it shows he is an asset.

Here are all the personal attacks that storm88000 made toward Oscar. Is this acceptable? What about the complete bullshit of a feedback thread storm88000 created about oscar? Why is that still open? none of it was corroborated. And all the lies Jordan told to the mods and the members time and time again, how is that acceptable? How can this site be taken seriously when this is going on? How can a forum member break so many forum rules and refuse to mitigate the situation not get banned? This inaction is the problem with this forum. There should be no reason what so ever that a light punishment is justified. This is setting a standard, a very bad one. Because now apparently all you have to say is "take my word for it" and you dont get banned.

Don't take this the wrong way and it's nothing personally directed towards you, but that literally has nothing to do with this. We've seen many times where respected members of the community have scammed others. It still doesn't negate the fact that this transaction isn't acceptable. The mods not doing anything even though they know the specifics of the situation is honestly one of the major issues here. It provokes other members to think that condoning business as Jordan has is not only acceptable, but they can get away with doing it. I'm slowly losing a lot of respect for some members on here that I will refrain from mentioning.

Point us to a rule Storm88000 broke and we will GLADLY follow through with some form of punishment. Our hands are tied!

As the rules stand, it is acceptable, and people will "get away" with it. Where have you been? It's always been this way!
