You refuse to accept responsibility in this. He offered you a refund, but you unreasonably want him to pay for return shipping. Pay to have it shipped back, take the refund he's offering you and learn from YOUR mistake.

Because he read what I posted I told you! If you recall, last week I said "send it back I'll refund the 350" and you said no that you wanted all the shipping costs too. Maybe if you were a little kinder I would have offered to pickup another $100 or so and take the loss. But no, threats, threats, blackmail, threats. Rinse, repeat..

ANYWAYS, I have said just about all I need to say in this thread. OP: you are wrong, you told only about 30 percent of the truth, you are backpedaling, you accused me of trying to scam you from day 1, you refused to pay more for shipping and I had to pick up the rest myself (but being nice I said don't worry about it) Apparently you expect a 4 year old header that was $700 new listed for $350 used to look like what? It was all there. No holes, no damage, no dents, no bends or crimps, all except a few artificial surface scrapes on the very bottom, and UPS did whatever else, THEY sent it from THEIR store in THEIR BOX and THEY saw everything! If they had a problem with it they sure didn't say so. What the hell else can I tell you?

And 1 last thing, it's been a suspiciously long time since you've been saying your going to post this and post that. But still nothing. So what are you doing all this time? My guess is you are trying to figure out what things you should and shouldn't post to better suit your argument depending on the way the thread is going for you; and you needed to wait to see how things went first. But I have the real information so don't bother. Give it a rest. Have fun. And stick to my original word of wisdom, it's an exhaust manifold, it's not life, and if you had been civil towards me, I would have probably done what you asked for. I don't respond well to being intimidated and threatened. No one really does. Adios

What you're dancing around is the fact that YOU packed it. And YOU are responsible for how well the item was packed. And YOU have no clue how shipping insurance works. And YOU are responsible for how the item arrived.

And YOU are responsible for misrepresenting the condition of the item.



I'm not saying it looks like the other party is blameless, but it's pretty hard to take your side when you've mislead the buyer and packed the item like a fool. How would you feel if a seller did that to you?

Unless I don't have the facts straight? Tell me where I have it wrong.

he concluded to do that..I clearly told him I wasn't going to sell anything that was damaged and that if he felt comfortable doing that once again, for him to do it himself.. I also kept telling him not to leave anything from the physical description out this time because I didn't want anybody to be pissed off.. also told him to post the pictures of the damages the header had from the pics I sent him, did he do anyt of what I told him on the second thread??? I don't think so community...the Mods can assure that... all this is the reason why I told Jordan that I wanted to keep the sale local...

I remember this thread. And I posted on it asking if this was the same header he just sold. He replied with it being a long story. But, no where was it posted that the header was damaged. I think it is important to note that this item was in dispute due to the damage not being disclosed and then another for sale thread was started and was being sold without the damage being disclosed. This is an open and shut case.
